Those were done in a box modeler (not CAD) I was using in/around 2014. Easily reproducable and fungible (IOW the height, width and cross section are arbitrary). What it's not is a Morelli shape [here interpreted by Ross Lovegrove]:



The modeling tools in Blender would make this shape possible. I'll let you know when this is more important than other things happens. Thanks.
