Front License plates

Anyone have any work arounds with making front license plates more aerodynamic? Special frames?

Best I could do was hammer and bend the corners around the frame slightly curved towards the car

Strap it to a bullet-nose Studebaker. That's what I did.

Besides using the plate as a grille block, other approach that I have seen was using a sticker as a regular plate.

Images of smoke-flow visualization during wind tunnel testing are the only way to 'see' this phenomena.
