FS: 2004 Honda Civic EX Sedan Automatic

Now that my mom has a Prius to drive, and I have my Gen 1 Insight, it is time to sell the Civic.

Posting it on here in case anyone is interested. Yes, it is autotragic, but is still a very fuel efficient car (35-40 MPG w/ no ecomods and no hypermiling).

Copying my ad:

"Silver 2004 Honda Civic EX (top trim level), sedan, automatic, 163K miles last time I checked (probably ~165K now). Extremely reliable, all maintenance done, needs nothing. Transmission works flawlessly (2001-2002 were the years of the bad Civic automatic transmissions; this is a 2004), engine runs smooth, quiet and leaks/burns no oil. No check engine light. Clean title, clean Carfax, no accidents. 35-40 MPG for the average driver; drive conservatively and you'll easily break over 40 MPG. $3900 cash, reasonable offers considered. Car was just checked and verified that everything is functioning perfectly. Located in Michigan.

The good:
- Replaced within the last 13K miles/8 months:
---- Timing belt ($250)
---- Water pump ($70)
---- Brakes and calipers ($200)
---- O2 oxygen sensor ($200)
---- Air filter ($10)
---- Transmission fluid flush ($100+ value)
---- Coolant flushed ($100+ value)
- New battery ($100)
- Oil recently changed at about 163,400 miles ($20)
- 99% rust free
- Tires are basically new with <3K miles on them ($250 value).
- Carfax indicates no accidents and I was never in an accident.
- Just shampooed and detailed for selling
Total value of recent maintenance = $1300 you won't have to spend on the car if you have it serviced professionally.

The bad:
- Tachometer doesn't work (didn't when I bought it). Appears to be a wiring issue since it works occasionally whenever the battery resets
- Paint is bubbling on two tiny spots on the passenger side doors
- Tiny dent in the hood
- Alloy wheels have some curb rash
- If you look closely there are a couple cigarette burns in some of the seating, but it doesn't smell (I don't smoke).
- One of the previous owners replaced the stock rear tail light casings with aftermarket ones, and the rear bumper cover wasn't remounted 100% flush.

Extremely reliable car that really needs nothing. Wouldn't hesitate to drive it across the country. Selling only because I bought an Insight. PM if interested."

I will update the post with the VIN # and pictures soon.

I also have a set of gently used Hankook 185/70R14 all season tires for $150 pickup if anyone is interested as well. About 9K miles on them. Stock tire size for the 2003-2005 Honda Civic Hybrid; also works for mounting HX rims on other 7th gen Civics, or can be used as larger tires for an earlier Civic for taller gearing purposes. Civic will come with the stock 195/60R15 tires and OEM alloy rims.

Note: Car has been un-ecomodded for sale.
