FS: Hi Voltage Fiero EV (#6 on FE log on ecomodder.com homepage)
I have had my Fiero EV for sale for a while now, and only just thought to advertise here on ecomodder.com. See the components at its evalbum dot com entry. It's number 1001, or search by make for pontiac, and look for "Dave Brandt's 1986 Fiero EV". Sorry for not just listing a link, but I have less than 5 posts. It's also currently no. 6 on the fuel efficiency log on the ecomodder.com homepage.
It's a 228V system, but everything is rated for 240V. With the large batteries I used, I just couldn't fit that 20th battery in. The batteries are mid aged, and remaining range is 25-30 miles driving gently.
Includes many fiero specific parts, and a bunch of EV related parts as well. Tires are new (Fuzion Hri all around - less than 500 miles on the fronts, less than 2500 miles on backs). 1000 Amp high voltage controller, WarP 9 motor, stock 4 speed (currently clutchless), awesome stereo system. Headlights work good (always a problem in these cars), and mechanically, this car is in great shape. The paint is fair (it was a relatively cheap job from the PO), and the drag producing spoiler has been removed.
It is a 1986 SE model although it has the GT body and lights.
I had gotten to the point where I was going to part it out, but currently the first Item I listed by itself, the PFC-20 charger, has only gotten one response, and that one has not finalized the sale yet, so act fast before the charger is gone.
I'm located near Savannah, GA, and am asking $13,900 OBO. Reply to ev_dave13 at yahoo dot com. Pics and phone number available on request. Thanks.
P. S. I'll have limited connectivity next week (9-12 thru 9-18), so it may take a while to respond, get you pics, set up a test drive, etc.
