Fuel efficient(er) Rav4 (ecodream build)

So my (affordable) dream car is a 1st gen Rav4. Basically a Celica GT on steroids. The gt has a 2.2l 5sfe motor. My celica st has the 1.8l 7afe. My dream build is a Rav4 st with the lower displacement motor. I think it could be done keeping it all stock looking.
I'd like to chat this on toyota boards, but its antiperformance, so I post here.
Now since I'm dreaming, the 1.5l 5afe would be super with a turbo.
I'd like to lower it to car height. In the end, I believe I would have something like the Scion xd.
So... discuss??
