Posts: 16,306 Thanks: 24,436 Thanked 7,384 Times in 4,782 Posts	cast iron key for small manhole ( water meter )cover removal The small 'T' in inserted into the slot on the cover, cover is rotated to disengage dogs, then the cover can be safely lifted and removed without dropping.
