Futurecars was on Science channel yesterday

I watched 4 hours. This show usually repeats several times over about 2 years, but these were all new episodes. Enjoyable presentation and very interesting- I think I went from a transporational nerd to a 'futurist'.

Futurecars

John Gilkison made me a VHS cassette of an episode from the 1990s.Aerodynamics was mentioned only once,in regard to a Mitsubishi concept that lowered its roofline during highway cruising.Perhaps I'll get a chance to see the new show. Thanks for the update!

Some of those futurecar episodes. . .are. . .abysmal. The episode with the cars that drop kids off for school and have a yellow canopy so the world is always "sunny."

Yeah I don't want either of those. First Imagine if hackers instead of getting into your computer and turning it into a zombie. . .got into your car and used you as a 1 ton bullet?

No amount of encryption is honestly safe. No matter what they just have to get the password for the cypher on either side and thats much easier than breaking the encryption.

Also I find most automated processes of cars very annoying and like my organic in tune with the road rather than being driven around. . .

I hope the new episodes were an improvement!
