Question Gauges for 1991 Civic w/1.5L engine

Didn't find any threads that answered my questions so I'm starting a new one. If I missed the threads in my search, my apologies.

Has anyone installed a vacuum gauge on a '91 Civic w/1.5L engine? Where did you attach the vacuum line on the engine?

Has anyone installed a electric oil pressure gauge on the same? Where did you find a sending unit?

Thanks in advance for any replies.

Tom Beno

There's a lot of booster lines going here and there. I think on my Taurus, I tapped into one of the vacuum lines going to the EGR purge solenoid (I think ... that was nearly 10 years ago ...).

Follow the vacuum lines, there is most likely going to be a service port covered somewhere that you can tap into..

For the oil pressure switch, I'd look near the oil filter. That's where the vehicles oil pressure switch is and there are usually some lines that you can tap into. I've seen on Cherokees and Focuses, people add them right by the oil filter.
