Yes, but it concerned engine 1.33 in Yaris, that combustion. The new Yaris territory in Eurape has a motor of 1.0 69 hp 95 Nm:
city: 49-39 mpg, Highway 63-53 mpg, Combined 57-47 mpg,
v-max 155 km/h, 0-100 km/h 15.5 s.
Base Curb Weight kg (Ibs.) 950-1040 kg (2094-2292 Ibt.)

Toyota Yaris 1.5 111 HP 136 Nm:
City 41-37 mpg, Highway 60-56 mpg, Combined 51-47 mpg,
V-max 175 km/h, 0-100 km/h 11s.
Base Curb Weight kg (Ibs.) 1020-1115 kg (2248-2458)

In America, Toyota Yaris 1.5 106 hp 103 Nm.
City 36, Highway 43, Combined 39.
V-max ?, 0-100 km/h ?
Base Curb Weight kg (Ibs.): 1050 (2315)

In Europe, manufacturers are giving out false combustion figures because they are not threatened with anything, penalties and so on, compared with the United States.

Just a remind: torque in the U.S. and a handful of Latin American countries is more often advertised in lb.-ft. instead of Nm. English HP is also slightly higher than the French CV/German PS.
