Global lithium data

The February,2019,National Geographic magazine devoted a number of pages to the global lithium supply potential,where it's been, likely to go,and where it's used in the marketplace.
Currently,Australia leads world production,from hard-rock mining.
Bolivia is expanding into the market,drawing upon deep-brine deposits/passive evaporation ponds.
Pro's and con's.
Short of an Internet search,it could be handy for those near a library.
I found a copy this morning,for $0.25 (US) at a used bookstore.

Eco terrorists trying to block US lithium mine.
I was going to call them stupid nimbys but the mine is no one's back yard in the middle of no where northern NV, which I have been there and there really is nothing.

Latest kerfluffle is that it is a sacred burial site for the Shosone/Piute/Chumash, but they cant pinpoint any specific area or even anybody significant located there.

I actually think it is the poor record that the state of NV has with discarded mining sites turning into toxic and dangerous conditions then abandoned with no recourse.

that's an issue with both sites.
