These good old Yank Tanks are deemed far from "eco", but are nice-looking and comfortable. And actually are not a bad platform for some ecomodding

It might be quite controversial, but I always liked the design of the Mitsubishi Expo LRV.

I've always liked the mini-MPV concept too, something that was way ahead of Chrysler "inventing" the MPV idea (they lied).
Things like the Honda Civic "Shuttle" :
Or even these van based things like the Toyota Space Cruiser (!)
which looked so cool in the 1980s. For the same reason (but driving much better) I also loved the idea of the Mk1 Matra (sorry) Renault Espace
And bought a Mk1 Scenic - which was nicer to drive than an equivalent model VW Golf anyday.

Altough minivans have their utility factor, the average Joe doesn't see a "cool factor" on them as they do with the pickups. But some actually do have a beautiful design for an utility vehicle.

Amen! I have owned a lot of cars, and I have to say that my '88 Civic wagon was probably my favorite to drive and use everyday. I just love those cars, a grey on grey 5 speed would be my keeper car if I could find one in decent enough shape. I found a mint '91 grey on grey with deluxe interior, 5 speed and low KMs for $700 once, and had the worst attack of kidney stones ever an hour before I was supposed to meet the guy. I told my gf to take me to the car but she took me to the lousy hospital instead! I don't think I ever forgave her for that ha ha. Hey, just because I am curled up on the floor and vomiting doesn't mean I can't buy the thing, just carry me over there and I'll be fine!! That was the last nice one I saw, and that was 4 years ago. If I found another one I would actually sell off all my other eco-stash, maybe even the Insight (gasp!), and do a VX swap into it.
Man that's pretty!
But my favorite looking car? '55 Chevrolet 2 door post in black.

Probably not very aero, but possibly my all time favorite car, with the grand prix Delage engines as my favorite all time engines. No cylinder head and 60 ball and roller bearings in the engine. You had to pull the crankshaft to do a valve job.

Not my favorite car from its era, but the Cord sure was interesting.
