Question Good (older?) threads to follow for different perspectives

Ok, I am taking a pause from starting my own first build thread. In 2 days i got toms of help and ideas, and that is so cool.

But I realized my OCD (truly, a struggle) was getting me sucked into it. So it got me thinking, can anyone just for fun list a thread or idea that they seem to enjoy following without getting wrapped up in lots of details and specifics?

Not like Unicorn Corral stuff, but like "hey, remember that guy that tries that thing or was going to, but ended up selling his car." or a theoretical discussion where there has been off the wall but possible, or "boy I wished I thought of that" sorts of topics?

So I basically I admit I am hooked on this site, but I want to broaden my horizons and perspectives outside the more common topics and maybe read some older , but just as relavent ones. Give me the 30,000 foot view of ecomoddimg, not just the view from 1,000 feet up.

Details and specifics are important, but if you're just looking for entertainment it hard to beat:

http://ecomodder.com/forum/showthrea...ion-22468.html

30K feet? Read all the stickies.

When your in a forum listing, the [Rating/Thread/Last Post/Replies/Views] Column headers are clickable.

Click, ferinstance, in Aerodynamics on Views and you'll see the most viewed non-sticky thread is: "5th generation civic hatchback - improving aerodynamics (12-14-2007)" and you will see it's been viewed 437,176 times.

Click on Replies and see that "Aerocivic - how to drop your Cd from 0.31 to 0.17 (12-12-2007)" had 571 individual comments.

As you peruse threads follow up when people post link to other threads that they found helpful.

that thread is great, thanks! Memorial Day parades anyone? Doubt anyone would overheat like the hot rods.

Woodward Cruise would be fun with paint jobs like that too!
