Graduates get booklet for Fuel Economy

Local High School Graduates got a little booklet that's titled "A quick Guide to reducing vehicle emissions and improving fuel economy". With a link to www.takecareoftexas.org. It's a start.

Is any other state doing anything like this?

I haven't heard of the graduates here getting one of those. But most don't really care at such an exciting moment. On Monday, (last day for seniors) we had seniors doing burnouts out of excitement/celebration of their accomplishments.

I'm sure it will at least teach some of the students to drive in a sane manner. I wish they had something like that "Take Care of Texas" program for Virginia. I've wanted to start a recycling program but I don't know where to start.

We started an environmental club, it didn't take off this year as planned, but next year it should be up and running. Just me and a friend.
