Grill block mounting help
Im looking to make a set of brill Blocks for my VW Passat and im making them out of clear Perspex so they are as clean and stealthy as i can get it as i want to have a factory fitted look but my problem is how can i mount them with out having bolts or cable ties showing?
im looking to do all 3 Lower grills with a vent in the center grill. Also a Half block on the Large center Grill with the VW Logo. I want it to look a clean as possible. Thanks Carl |

Maybe you could cut grill block with some additional mounting points, heat them up and bend to the inside, then use zip ties or screws to mount it?

I did think about that but there isnt enought clearance between the bumper and the grill.

Can you take a pic of the actual front of your car? That will be easier to see what we're talking about.

Yes i will get one up in a bit.

The grills are a tight fit in the resess of the bumper the upper grill should not be a problem its just the lowwer grills. |
Why you don't want to use those holes in a "black" area? The actual grill...
|
The two side grills are only half open and dont fancy having visable cuts in them.

Maybe some thin pieces of inox, screwed to the Prespex and fitted into the tight space between grill and bumper cover?

You could put the grille block on the inside, for that stealthy look.
