Group Buy: Kilovac EV200 Contactor, Tyco EV200AAANA

Hello Everyone,

Im looking to do a group buy of EV200 contactors. I have a good source for these, (Same guy I bought IGBT's from) at a great price.

For those of you not familiar with this contactor, here are the specs:
Code:
Contact Form SPST-NO (1 Form X)
Contact Rating (Current)	500A
Switching Voltage 900VDC - Max
Coil Type Non Latching
Coil Current 130mA
Coil Voltage 12VDC
Turn On Voltage (Max) 9 VDC
Turn Off Voltage (Min) 6 VDC
Mounting Type Chassis Mount
Termination Style Screw Terminal
Features Sealed - Hermetically
Operate Time 15ms
Release Time 12ms
Operating Temperature -40°C ~ 85°C
RoHS Status RoHS Compliant
And a few more notes:

Designed to be the smallest, lightest weight, lowest cost sealed contactor in the industry with its current rating (500+A carry, 2000A interrupt at 320VDC).

Built-in coil economizer – only 1.7W hold power @ 12VDC and it limits back EMF to 0V. Models requiring extenal economizer also available.

And the datasheet: http://relays.te.com/datasheets/ev200.pdf

Im trying for around $70 with shipping per contactor. Just need quantity to get final price.

Post here if there is interest.

-Adam

Hi Adam,

I'm definately interested, would you be able to arrange shipping to the UK?

Might be worth posting this over at diyelectriccar.com also to drum up more response.

Regards,

Paul

I'll be interested in 1 or 2. Haven't figured out what my electrical schematic is going to look like quite yet.

FYI, I'm obviously new to this forum. I started a conversion a few weeks ago and my buddy (who is already a member here) sent me this link.

Hey guys,
Just thought you might like to know that there is a guy on ebay, troygaud, that sells those for $70 shipped. I heard about him on the DIY electric car forum, and the bought a couple from him. Just search for Tyco EV200.
Joe
edit it's the same guy in Patricks link above.

Still thinking of doing a group buy? I'm interested. That eBay seller is no longer selling them. I see used ones on ebay, but I don't like the idea of used.

If the group buy hasn't been done yet, I'm in for one as well...
