Had LIFEPO4 battery became cheapper ???

On Brazil there was a LIFEPO4 battery (Litihum based), with about 3000 cycles life (at 80%), and indicated for motorcyles.
It was expansive for a 14A 12V. It ws ALIANT, a Italian manufactur.

https://produto.mercadolivre.com.br/...BwE&quantity=1

Now there is a other brand, SKYICH, with 2000 cycles (at 80% I think) 14A and 12V, but while ALLIANT costs 880 reals the SKYRICH costs 214 reals.

https://produto.mercadolivre.com.br/...a-5004f62c045f

Why a LIFEPO4 it's so much cheaper than other very similar???

And the SKYRICH have better CCA value, of 888 while the RELIANT have just 245.

The 50% extra cycles of the expansive one (RELIANT) do not make the 4x price acceptable.

Can we use 3 or 4 of such batteries as energy source for a e-bike or e-trike???

If LIFEPO4 have more cycles (up to 3000) and very little danger of fire/explosion, why it it's not used in electric cars as main battery???
Is it just due the lower energy density, or something else too???

Reals? Are you for real?

You've answered your own question though. The name of the game is more range, less weight and volume.

New LiFePO4 appears to have always been cheaper than traditional "lithium ion".
LiFePO4 appears to have a shorter life, lower energy density and worse cold weather effects.
If the leaf had LiFePO4 it would be useless in the winter.
Bit LiFePO4 is supposedly easy to make and doesn't require any hard to get elements.

Real it's our coins on Brazil : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brazilian_real

If LIFEFO4 have lower price and HAVE 2000 OR 3000 CYCLES (deppend on brand manufacturer) agains just 1000 cycles of of higher energy density lithium batteries, and cost less, and have LESS FIRE HAZARD, maybe it could be used more often in small electric car or trikes.

But my main question it's about the price variation, since the link show two batteries of 14A and 12V, but one costs 4X moe than the other.

The price it's close to lead acid battereis of 15A 12V for e-skate. his is strange...

SOAB trick seller. He display a announce with specifications for a 14A battery, but when we ask hin about that price was for a 5A battery.

So the price did not got lower. It's just a trick.

Try charging them when it's really cold.
First time they get charged when they're colder than +20F that will shave off about 500 to 600 of those cycles.

As they approach 0F they become nearly useless.

They'refine as long as you have an excellent thermal management system. To me the best application for LiFePO4 is a plug in hybrid with a lead acid 12v. That way you can get unlimited heat for the battery when it's cold.
