What's more, surely they will figure out which partiocular foodstocks are most efficiently converted by the fungus. Maybe you could have a hopper in your back yard, put poop, lawn clippings, trash, paper products, those pesky styrofoam peanuts, etc, into it, and make fuel.

Other reports say the fuel vapour contains a lot of methane; that site has it all the way up to octane. I think it will work OK in spark-ignition engines. :-)
