HC fuel to heat/light to solar electricity: 40% efficient, currently..!

So an internal combustion engine with no moving parts (silent and long? lasting) that turns fuel into heat/light that's collected by solar cells specific to that light's frequency, with NO power or energy density limitations..!
At an efficiency of 40% in it's infancy..!?
That's worth keeping an eye on.

I only watched the first one. I know I posted about something similar, but shan't look for it.

With combustion to photoelectric effect, what happens to the heat produced?

The second video kicks off with talk of 'high-temperature heat' which I found funny.

If the Rube Goldberg chain of energy transfers is long and complex enough, there's no end to the perpetual energy that could be produced.

Heat is measured in Watts
Temperature is measured in degrees Celcius, Farenheit, Kelvin, etc.
So NOT!!! the same thing.

You can have a lot of low temperature heat. eg: a hot day
Or you can have a tiny spark at 1000s of deg C, but you wont be causing a hot day with it..!

The confusion of heat and temperature is everywhere and a source of great amusement/sadness.

You should look up the distinguised scientists telling the world that heavier than air flight was impossible, just before the Wright Brothes took off...
(Like thats going to happen! )

J.P. Morgan was into the "Make copper wire and electricity!' while your ancetors? where calling it 'New-fangled Balderdash'.
Where might you be had they done what he did..?

NB that plain old thermoelectrics, that you can buy right now, are now heading above 10% efficient, while small model aeroplane engines are at around 8%.

SO
NB
The bit where I say it's worth keeping an eye on
THEN
decide I'm a useless dreamer, posting pie in the sky BS beter ignored.
(oops! Too late for that!..? )
