Just a good example of someone trying to buy driving skills.

Terrible driving of the Hellcat. Driver should have never gotten that far before lifting.
I had no idea the Teslas were that fast!

Looks like he had a snafu with the launch control. That and he really ought to be using drag radials and not street tires with that much power.

Electrics have 100% torque at 0rpm. I'd like to see a Tesla go up against the White Zombie.

Yea you should see the reactions I get when someone goes 'I want a Tesla' and I ask them 'with all due respect, can you handle a car with 700hp?'.

Yes - that was horrible wheel spin on the Challenger. I'd like to see a match up with the car getting better traction.
Both cars tested in Road&Track at the same E.T., so it would be interesting.
Left out of this horrible YouTube clip is the last few seconds, in which the voice in the car says " sponsored by the friendly petroleum industry "

The Tesla ran an 11:60?? Good grief that's quick, I didn't know they were that fast either! One of my friends is an experienced drag racer, has had a few 8 second "street legal" cars, he has a Hellcat on order. He is also one of the people that harps on me the most to "get rid of your goofy electric cars" (meaning the Insight). Hmmmm....the Tesla has inspired me, I'll run his new Hellcat with my first gen Insight! What could go wrong??
