I've always been interested in energy use efficiency in general and vehicle fuel economy in particular. I visited the EPA fuel economy site a few times and it was my impression that it did not have the best interface. So I though I could make it easier to the general public to make better decisions or just educate themselves about cars efficiency. For that I built a single page site. It is designed (hopefully) to the average Joe, not experts.

I would really like to hear suggestions on how to improve it. Design, what other data should it contain (or not), easy of use. Although I plan on building a much more sophisticated page later, please keep in mind that this first one is targeted to the casual and not that much concerned user who just wants the main points fast and easy.

I don't see any model years. Is this just for new cars?

This is nice to see models of one kind, like "if I want a Mustang, which should I get for fuel economy?" but it is hard to narrow it down- like say I only want to look at v8s, or v6s, standards or autos (or cvts), also it is hard to show year to year data- should I get the 2004 engine x, or the 2005 engine y?

The page also says 2006, but it looks like it came about in late October.

Not off to a bad start, but I'm no expert. Definitely quick to navigate.

You should allow to narrow down by model years (some model years have changes that will make care more cheaper to maintain (using R134a is cheaper than R12 if you live somewhere where AC is necessary,) engine, transmission, and the like.

As of now I only have 2014 data.

Those options will be in the advanced interface

I did a quick first try at that year and had no time to go any further so that old page was abandoned but was alive until late October as you noticed. This is a complete redesign.
