Hello

[my first gmc]

Hey everyone my name's Will. So a few hours ago i stumbled on the 60+ mods to improve efficiency, and wow! am I amazed. So anyway, i drive a 96 GMC Sierra, OH NOES!!! A TRUCK!!!. I love it, just not the mileage it gets. I've done a few things to it, lowered 4" in front and 6" in back. Saw the aeroshell on the mods lists and fell in love, so i'm planing on building on, except sportier. Other things on the list are: getting fully shaved, lower it some more, new front bumper, a tune up, maybe a lng/propane conversion in the future, and a few other odds and ends.

The rear bumper's no more, roll pan's going on and tailgate handle is being shaved. Also took of the tailgate cap.

Welcome to the site. What kind of mileage are you currently getting in the Sierra?

Looking forward to seeing another aeroshell around.

I haven't been able to accurately measure the mileage, but i think I'm getting mid to high teens. Would love to get it to mid to high twenties. The engine definitely needs some tlc. Oh, i also disabled the drl's, but did it because they're dumb.
