My favorite place to be standing when the tsunami hits would be above the big letter G at Garibaldi.

I guess another city named after Giuseppe Garibaldi may be even safer in case of tsunami

The elevation 2 miles from the Bay is 1500ft. Compare Rio de Janeiro's dashboard Jesus at 2300ft.

Rio de Janeiro is not Rio Grande do Sul. There is a city named Garibaldi in Rio Grande do Sul, and is among the biggest wine producers in Brazil.
