Hello

I found this site about a week ago and I've been trying to catch up on all the goodness found here. My wife and I share a 2008 Honda Fit Sport automatic. I already drive for better mpg and have got 34.06 mpg for the 8 months we have had the car, but I've learned some new techniques and am trying them out.

I'm hoping to get the MPGuino kit for xmas. I'm hoping to make some contributions to the project, maybe a smart cruise control.

Recently, I found a red Citicar in my grandparent's neighbor's backyard under a bush, and my father-in-law and I plan on restoring it and getting it running again.

I'm an astronomy PhD student and should graduate this summer. Before that I was a software engineer.

Will the Citicar be a hobby vehicle, or do you think you (or your dad in-law) will be able to actually use it in your "normal" driving?

Welcome to the site.

Welcome to the site.
I will not be able to use it since I have to park on the street and have no way to plug it in. I'll be moving in less than a year and hopefully I'll have a garage then. In the meantime the in-laws are excited about using it for normal driving. They live in Cincinnati, and I'm not sure how it will do on the steep hills.
