Hello from Southern New Mexico

Hello,

I've been lurking hear for about a year now and have finally decided to join the party. I'm a college student studying Accounting. I drive a 99 Honda Civic Cx Hatch Standard. Been using basic hypermilling techniques like slow acceleration, early up shifting, and coasting whenever possible. Still fill wary about EOC on the car. I'll probably end up trading my Sunday Car in (93 deville) under the Cash for Clunkers program and sell my civic if the IQ or the Fiesta come out before the bill loses its limited funding. But for the time being i'm interested in maximizing gas mileage out of my Civic.

-and note to the mods can you please change the thread title to "Hello from Southern New Mexico" (doh!)

Welcome to EM! I changed the title for you. It sounds like you have a smart game-plan to take advantage of the clunker program.

Which course?

How do you like it?

I, unlike most people, enjoy accounting, and in a down economy its not a bad profession.
