I would think a small computer fan installed in one of the car's cabin exhaust vents to pull air out would work well. It runs on 12 volts, and the small ones use very little power.

The one issue I had with the CleanMPG thread on doing this is when he tested it he did not have a control. If he would have ran the fan in one car and had one with out it next to it to see the actual difference in temps.

Just be happy you are not here, the high is 113 right now. Hows that for ambient temp, Im sure the parking lot adds alot and Im driving the car without ac because it gets 32 mpg! My truck gets about 20mpg and has ac but im determined to use less dead dinos!

you are more determined than me. I would be driving the car with A/C even if it got 10mpg at those temps!

I'm with Steve on that one. Fortunately for my A/C loving ways, my Jeep isn't efficient enough for the A/C to have a huge impact. Around town it sucks no more than 0.5 mpg, probably less. On the highway, it's probably a 1 mpg difference at worst.

Fortunately the weather has been nice this week in KY but my AC went out last week so I am forced to not use it.
