Help Reflashing?
Long story short, my mpguino died. Having a few things around the house I built a electronics-diy.com/avr_programmer.php (Simple serial isp.. which is connected by a usb -> serial adapter) (In windows, I could use ubuntu but I do not know if this funky usb to serial has linux drivers..). I loaded up ponyprog2k and 1) the chip resets, the osc/security bits read, and will read a chip image, with out failing. But the chip image is blank "FF" for the whole chip but maybe 10 - 20 bytes.
So I was going to try and reflash it, here is where I am confused. How do you compile .80 cpp? I d/led a copy of arduino 11 and drop the cpp into the tools dir and tried avr-gcc mpguino.cpp and had many many missing librarys. (Ok so my paths are not set up.... not sure where to go on that yet. So can someone either hold my hand on compiling .80 or tell me where I can get the hex for one of the predone opengauge deals (with a 16Mhz xtal) (And yes it's a prefab so I can't just use a usb -> arduino board...
If I can get a copy of the .hex what is it considered flash or eeprom? Anyone super smart wana write a HOWTO/FAQ to flash your mpguino?
