Help with Whistling Camper Van?

Hi all, kinda OT for this group but I'd like some help sorting out an annoying whistling noise on my camperized van. It seems to be coming from somewhere around the top of the windshield and mainly on the passenger side. I found a pretty good gap at the top of the windshield underneath the rubber gasket and filled that in with some foam amd that seemed to help a bit but it's still pretty bad on the highway. Any thoughts? I can get more photos if that will help. Apparently I can't post pics yet (need to get my post count up) but I'd be happy to send photos to anyone interested and will post back here when I'm able.

Thanks!

Greg

It's not OT.
Wind noise = drag.

Can you maybe put them on a website, something like Flickr ?

well yes and no, it's likely i small hole in a rubber gasket... carmakers spend a lot of time trying to eliminate noise...

the effect of these gaskets is quite clear when a window is just a fraction open or when a door is not fully closed, you imediately hear this.

my advice would be to try to track down the problem, find the damage and fix it... some sylicone might be a good way to fix it, but perhaps replacing the whole thing is also an option

Try one of the tricks my NVH friends used to use to find wind noise problems: Duct tape

Cover a suspected problem area with duct tape. When the noise changes, you know you are on something.
