Here is my front lower pan on Dart

Most recent project to Dart was full airdam and lower pan.I used a modified Chevy pick up truck air dam and constructed the frame from ABS plastic . I will post photos as soon as I am allowed by forum protocols.

I am eager to explore further possibilities, and learn from you guys. Lots of questions.

This is an attempt to post a photo. Lets see if it works.

View unpainted and after paint.

I made this dam and pan as a result of things posted on this forum.

What engine? Slant 6 (170, 225 cid) or small-block V8 (273, 318, 340, 360 cid)?

Looks good. It's nice to see someone applying these ideas to older iron. I am into older Chrysler products and will be watching with interest
Travis..

Yep. 225 slant six bored 30 over to 230. For all the weight it is a rather small inline six for its era. No, I have not tested the lower pan, and know of no easy way to do one. The ecu on the EFI which is on this engine will not do the math to report mileage, although it will report injector open times in ms. I suppose if I did the math myself I could come up with a conversion table, and watch the injector open time to get real time feedback, but nothing cumulative. I had a Miata with a scan gauge on it, but that stayed with the car when sold. It would be interesting to know if anyone with Megasquirt has made an interface with a scan gauge to read real time and accumulated mileage figures.

Injectors are 24lb/hour. I would have do some research to figure out what that means in gallons. Does anybody know? Then I would have to figure out how much fuel went through the injector in 1 millisecond. The transition time on the injector would muddy that picture a bit at low rpms. Any thoughts on that one?

I think I can lower car a bit more, but would have to cut a bit off the bump stops to make that work. I would do that in a heart beat, and probably will.

Sounds like a perfect job for an MPGuino.

Thanks. I quickly scanned the many posts on this link and am interested. However, Firefox would not let me access the link that offered the device for sale. Can you give me a quick sales pitch, or maybe an e-mail address? This car is not OBD anything. I would likely have to get the tech guys who put this together working with the open source guys that developed Megasquirt to see how we could get them to talk to each other. The output from the ECU is an old parallel port with connector. I use a USB adaptor to connect to my laptop. Getting the fuel economy module talking with the ECU would be over my head IT stuff. I am open to paying someone to help.
