Hey from the swamp!

Hows it going? i found this site randomly while wasting time at work, lurked for a couple hours, then tried hypermiling it home... even if i wasn't doing it right, the stress relief from driving slower and having a bigger cushion in bumper to bumper was really nice.

I drive a 1995 Honda Accord EX automatic

Hypermiling in Gainesville is not easy

I'm glad some one else is hypermiling in gville. Its not easy driving efficiently with a large student population all around you, most of other drivers want to get somewher fast even if there is a red light ahead of them.

Driving gets really bad when fall semester starts and bunch of new students and their familis descent on the city, they drive like zombies not paying attention to trafic rules but rather fixated on finding their destination.

Then you have 17-teen drivers with licenses so fresh the ink is still runny and in addition to their lack of experiance they drive while texting.

Good luck and watch your rear view mirror.
