My block heater is 400 watts, oem. The best use seems 2 hours gives me 2 minutes faster warm up for blue cold engine light goes out. The engine is around 90 degrees F or 40 more than outside temp.

The day it was 0 f last year my car was 32 f.

Thats abnormal for this area, I cant complain as it could be -60f.

Well it's been a while since I checked in. I've noticed better mpg but I never kept great records before the mod. I did knock my speed down to 50-55 from 60-65. That's probably where most of my better mpg comes from.
During warmer Weather, like today around 50-60, I averaged 45mpg at level cruising.
I'm averaging 37.1 on this current tank, and I've still got an estimated 175 left to go.

Edit: How do I get one of those mpg trackers, that's in signatures, that compares my mileage to the posted economy?

Glad to see that the 2.2L ecotec responds well to wai. It is one of my future ecomod. I wish I had the time to install it before this winter. I'll have to wait til next summer, -25°C is to cold for my little working hands! Haha
