Hi all.im Gsiguy from South Africa.im happy to be part of this community.ive always loved cars and until a few years ago i became very interested in fuel economy cos i had to travel long distances to work.my current car is an opel corsa lite 1.4 (corsa b) that i would like to turn into a fuel efficient car.its lightweight and small but can use a lot of fuel if i dont drive carefully.im currently staying in a flat with no space or security to work on my car and i will be moving into a house with garage at the end of december.so im excited to start with modding my little corsa.i have been reading the forum for some time now and i completely enjoy it.i do wish i could own a metro cos it seems like a winner.

Gearing sucks on them. I remember the '01 sedan with the Brazilian 1.0L engine I used to drive once in a while, as it was the only car in the household before my parents got divorced.


On a sidenote, here they were rebadged as a Chevy way before the Corsa Utility got the same fate there in SA.

But anyway, seems like the GSi is your favorite version of the Corsa B, isn't it? This was the last one I spotted in my hometown, around 4 years ago.
