Hello, Discovered this form while trying to improve my MPG, most of my driving is city driving also construction on my route turned a 15m highway speed trip to a 45m stop and go trip

Usually there would be, but this time they wanted the project done quickly, so construction is being done on both routes

I feel for you. We have had to suffer years of construction work, as they construct the new Forth Crossing, here in Scotland. Thankfully, after several long delays, it is due to open in two months time. Perhaps then the roads will get back to normal.

Welcome to the forum. Seems like half the city is torn up here and my commute is in it's second year of road construction so I feel your pain
