Smile Hi from Sydney

just joined forum.

I have a mazda 323 1995 1.8L n/a . Currently getting 9.5L/100km. i was hoping for better when i bought the car.
Ive done all the usuall stuff like servicing and in inflated tyres, etc

Ive tried a few things to improve FE
- HHO (5amps) with lean mixtures and retarded timing, 9L/100km
- Lean mixtures with 100mL acetone in 45L tank, 8-8.5L/100km

Im interested interested in trying water/meth injection so i can go leaner without valve clatter and drivability problems.
Comments and advice would be appreciated,

cheers

look at the mods to increase milage in the top of the ecomodding central forum, they actually work to increase milage,,, many of us get 50+ mpg and drive mostly normal.

What does the underside of the car look like is it smooth and flat or does it have big holes and obstructions? Is the grill opening bigger than it needs to be?
