Is there an actual nut behind the wheel you tighten, and if so how does that help?

Kincrud - Current plan is to build a "duck tail" off the top of the ARE cap. I've got a few weeks before my next big road trip and hope the tail is on for it.
I'd love the aero cap but I have too many projects right now. But maybe over the next year or two

On a side note, I paid less for diesel today than premium for the first time in years

It's an expression for changing your driving habits--YOU are the nut behind the (steering) wheel

Well I have been called a "Nut" and "Loon" by family members who think my lifestyle is, uh well, nutty But then I'm sitting here typing and messing with my new AeroTeardrop trailer and still 18 years to SS retirement and loving life, while they are all at "work". So I'm not sure who is the nutty one
Ed

PS We named our first boat CAAS (Crazy As A Loon)

AH okay, yeah that makes sense, especially since you already have the ARE cap.

Yea, I drive a truck every day too so 65 mpg is just not going to happen. My fist goal was to hit 30 mpg on a tank back when 25 way my best. I have hit and even exceeded that! You can meet your goal too, just keep up the good work.

I tend to agree. The drag curve gets stronger with speed... I don't mind going 60 mph, but STMBO (she that must be obeyed) doesn't like anything less than 70. I can get low 20s at 60 mph...but it wasn't always that way.

Good work Ed! I remember how pleased I was to see when my truck finally passed 20 mpg. I hit 21 mpg @65 mph last week...so 22 and 23 are next! I am also thinking of a Kammback to fasten to my truck...
