Hello from Albuquerque!

Hi everyone. I'm a psychic medium and animal lover living in magical New Mexico. I moved here from Los Angeles via Portland back in Dec. 2009. I used to be in the Entertainment Industry and miss it, but life has funny twists and turns. I have 3 cats (Karma, Bodhi, and Chakra) and a betta fish named Hugh Jackman (because he's so darn pretty).

I have a 2008 Scion xD named Bob. Bob is a devoted man and I love him. Because my commute to work is 22 miles each way, I have been trying various tricks to increase my gas mileage like actually driving the speed limit (the horror) and throwing the car into neutral constantly.

I'm glad I found this forum.

Atheria,
Welcome!!
Add air to you tires. take them to 40 psi and see if you like the ride,
Some go higher, maybe 50psi.

Thank you. I keep my tires full (although I've not checked them lately and should). When I got new tires awhile back, I switched to more standard sized tires because the ones Bob came with were a RARE size. I noticed the new tires lowered my mpg slightly....GRRRRRR

Right now I'm stressed out about the fact my coasting in neutral all the time MAY be damaging my transmission! Argh!
