Dynamic morphing Airfoil - gliding flight test:

At around 1.31 you can see the killer fake feathers gnashing at an imaginary pedestrian of superhuman speed!




This also caught my eye as I recall boat-tailers here mentioning instability:
"...The culmination of these effects produces a pressure distribution that increases the longitudinal stability of the airfoil..."

I like them both.
'Feathers' look to be fully self adjusting/optimizing once people like those above get their Flexural properties or 'springiness' and size/shape dialed in.

But best of all: No input power required..!
