Yes, the Sunpower 327 panels each have their own inverter, that is included in the 25 year warranty. They are 20% efficient, so they will have higher output per square foot than most panels.

They are rated for 1" hail, and they have 3 interlinks, that are designed for thermal expansion and contraction:

Nice panels. I can't even find a price on them. The Solarworld 295 is .113W/ sqin and $1.03 /W. The Astroenergy is .1025W/ sqin. and $0.80/ W.

By 1% more efficient, do you mean like going from 20% efficient panels to 21% panels, or do you mean going from 20% to 20.2%, which is a 1% increase in efficiency?

Yeah. I knew that was coming when I typed it. A difference in total efficiency from 17% to 18%. 6% difference. I would tend to recommend the best value system in $/ annual Wh.
