Honda sees a hydrogen-powered future

After Toyota's fuel-cell Mirai concept, Honda follows suit by re-introducing their own fuel cell-powered FCV. California (with partners, ConocoPhillips, BMW, Nissan, Toyota and Honda) is forging ahead with its own hydrogen fuel infrastructure. The next gen FC vehicle is a spacious sedan with Accord-like five passenger accommodations with real world driving range of over 300 miles. Recharging (about 10,000 psi) or refueling time takes about three minutes. The aero design is very distinctive following previous design cues, busy front end but has integrated partially-skirted rear wheels.

I think there's more of a chicken or the egg problem with the cars and refueling infrastructure. More that there isn't any refueling, not as much non existence of the cars

I thought I'd heard about the fcx a while back....

Honda FCX Clarity - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The FCX Clarity is available for lease in the U.S., Japan and Europe. In the U.S., it is only available to customers who live in Southern California where several hydrogen fuel stations are available.

From 2008 to 2014, Honda leased a total of 45 FCX units in the US.[4] There are around 10 others on lease in Japan and another 10 in Europe.[3][5] In 2010, it is reported that there are a total of 50 FCX Clarity available for lease in the U.S.[6]

I feel like the hydrogen car commercials would be like an advertisement for an endangered species rare eggs, that vaporize when taken away from the 13 chickens in the US ( 13 acording to Alternative Fuels Data Center: Hydrogen Fueling Station Locations )

Pointing out the map with hydrogen fueling stations sure feels like a Tesla commercial
