Good point, but we still have the technical issue, how do I get the episodes or clips to show my client? I could get CBS All Access [kind of] commercial-free for $10 a month and save episodes to my phone, [mom's] iPad, or [mom's] laptop.

I would prefer Mom's laptop because it would not have anything personal on it.

She has never used it. Money well spent!

I cannot install anything on my work iPad, so it would be more difficult to get stuff on there.

I would rather not commit to $10 a month indefinitely for about 10 minutes a month.

My laptop has a built-in recording program. I do not know what it is called. I used it before to make GIFs from Amazon Prime, but I just recorded the first episode of "Good Omens" (great show so far!) and it got the audio and captions, but no video. However, It captured YouTube just fine.

Maybe it will record CBS All Access just fine.

Maybe it will be useless.

Maybe it will work until CBS All Access Amazon Primes it. I am sure that paid services made the recorder detect paid services and black out the video.

Maybe something else would work, but I did not see anything on Google.

It says "Savefrom.net does not support downloading from this website" when I try to download from Amazon Prime. I am not finding anything else that works.

If it's that roundabout, difficult and expensive, could another, more accessible show sub in for it?

I signed up for CBS All Access, but couldn't find "Big Bang Theory" so I went back to Google.

As of September 17th it is now only available through HBO. I cannot imagine wanting to watch any of their original shows. HBO Now costs $15. I can add it through Amazon Prime, but it is not any cheaper. If I sign up for PlayOn I can download HBO Now, Amazon, and various services for which I do not have access.

So... for $15 a month I can resume my plan...

I ended up downloading the YouTube video that I shared. My client loved it and we spent the entire session discussing social aspects of the clip.

I need to make sure that we target each of her goals!

Yes, well, there is this: The Big Bang Theory Season 1 Full Season on Archive.Org

There were only six episodes in the first season? I downloaded them and CCCP from Ninite to play the .MKV files. It looks much better than that video that I linked. The first scene was of Sheldon and Leonard in a sperm bank, so I will skip that one. I liked the next part:

"Do you want to know something interesting about stairs?"
"No."
"If the height varies by just 2mm most people will trip."
"I don't care. Wait, really?"
"I conducted a series of experiments when I was twelve. Dad broke his clavicle."
"Is that why they sent you to boarding school?"
"No, that was an experiment with lasers."
[Leonard saw Penny in her new apartment]
"New neighbor?"
"I guess."
"She's a marked improvement."
"Over a two-hundred-pound transgender with a skin condition, yes."

I am not discussing people being uncomfortable with people with skin conditions with a kid...

I think the part starting at 3:21 is good, when Leonard and Sheldon meet Penny.

My client and I finally made it through the first episode, but that is easier because I have some difficulty finding 2.5 minutes that are fully appropriate for a kid. I swore that I had the six episodes on this laptop, but I could only find #1 and the clip that I shared in #1. I tried to find the download page, but couldn't. I came back here and followed the link, but it was taken down. I had downloaded it onto my laptop, but that has games and personal stuff. I went to upload it to Google Drive, but it was already there, so I connected this to the ethernet, downloaded the video immediately, and the first 2.5 minutes were kid-friendly!

It was interesting how everything fell apart and then everything came together.
