It formed really easily. As brittle the material seems to be,it still holds up after almost 18K miles. I never cut a valvestem hole so to check tire pressure, I have to cut two of the zip ties and re do it after I'm done.
Also I have to be careful tightening the zip ties so it does not tear the hole. Other than that it has been good to me.
One time it went 90 MPH for a few seconds,that was my durability test.

Jack the wheel up and spin it while you hold a piece of sandpaper against it, and you'll have a nice circularized finish.
