I would leave it and do schematics on how I could use it as a base for a "salt flat extension" like metroschultz is describing.
If you don't want to cut into the spoiler itself, you may be able to swap it out. Assuming it is attached with screws, you could take off the spoiler and replace it with your own design concoction.
thats a good idea cfg, i will have to think about that some and work off of it after i finnish my 2 current projects (upper grill block and rear wheel skirts)
