How to get coroplast home?
 

I know that the "local" sign shop will sell me a 4x8 sheet of coroplast for 20 bucks. That's absolutely great! :D

Except for one thing... I can't exactly make my airdam at the store... I need to get the coroplast home. I have already determined that it will not fit into my trunk or passenger compartment...

How did YOU get your coroplast home? The only thing I can think of is to strap it to the roof, beginning at the windshield and hanging back as far as it needs to... promblem is that I need to drive... 12.3 MILES!!! at 45 mph tops... :(

Any ideas for me? I will be getting a trailer hitch soon, and will have a post-type bike rack, so maybe I could strap it to the roof and have it rest on the bike rack?

you can roll it up, I got some that way once.

Hmm...I think I just stuck mine in the crx, but it is a hatch, even if it is small...I don't remember how that worked since it's been a few years but I know it did.

but there is nowhere to put an 8 foot roll of coroplast either... :-\

and wouldn't it crease instead of roll?

Mine creased. Kinda sucks, but oh well.

If you know you don't need to make any pieces 8 feet long, have them cut it in half at the shop. I'm sure they'll give you one cut for free, and then you'll have two 4x4' sheets instead of one 4x8. At that point, you should be able to stand them vertically behind the front seats and lean them against the back seat without blocking the rear window.

If you know approximately what dimensions you need for your piece(s), you could draw them out on the sheet and cut them out (slightly overlarge) with a box cutter or heavy duty scissors, so you would have smaller pieces to load in your car. This is something you could do out in the parking lot beside your car if you had to.

I folded mine in half. 4ft x 4ft square sign, folded down to 4x2 and it fit easily. 8 feet? No idea.

Network. Ask friends of friends if they have any friends that drive a pickup truck. Or a minivan with a roof rack.
