How to kill mileage in a plug-in hybrid C-max

So I took my car in for service to get the headlights fixed, (LED conversion acting up).

Note: I work at shop where I got my car in for service and my wife and I ride together and have another vehicle

While in the shop and in the bullpen, I forgot to turn off the schedule for the remote start, when I brought it in, I was showing 107MPG on the display, apparently starting and running for 15 minutes twice a day with a/c on cold, it will run all the battery down and drop mpgs to 41.5mpg in 5 days....whoops.

Yikes, I guess I never thought to consider that remote start could seriously injure someone. So that's why most any procedure starts with "remove the negative battery terminal". I never do that step.

I usually don't either....

That being said, they hadn't had time to look at it quite yet, I am an employee where my car is being looked at, granted I am a customer, with the discount on parts and labor, I get pushed back some, but that is ok, I get paid commission, so if everybody paid what my discount is, I would have to find another job because what I get paid off of the sales wouldn't pay my bills!!!
