too?

We sold the White Gnat 60 mpg 3 banger 96 Geo that I actually made money with drag racing on 2 of 3 tries last fall when I bought a 46 mpg Cheap Skate 95 Neon since it has 4 doors and AC. The wife rides in the Neon, but refused to go in the "clown car"....so we traded in her 14 mpg city V6 Voyager for our new 2011 Prius 2. Without trying that hard I was able to get 62.1 on a trip at 55 mph a couple of weeks ago, better than I EVER had done in the Geo. The guy that bought the Geo is SHOCKED that it gets 3 times the mpg that his F150 truck got. He had to fill it up every day since he drve it 240-280 miles per day for hisw work. He said he was saving about $150 every three days!

' Guess someone has to start.

I'm a member at PRIUSchat.

My car is an '08 Touring, 65K miles, 50.2 MPG lifetime.
I run upper grill blocking year 'round. Only significant
mods are a BT chassis brace, front shock tower brace,
and ScanGuage II.

No, but I have read some of their how-to's and tips. The household Pious is Mrs A's so I don't get to play with it often.

Our Prius is the wife's too. On her first tank of gas she only got 42 mpg (3 times better than the van) but on last nights fill she got 48.3. The 42 was done in much warmer weather and with the stock rims/tires on it while now it has some 09 rims with studded snow tires.

I am suprised that there is not a good Prius club nation wide. We see a lot more of them than the Miatas and Geos that have great clubs. Maybe I should start a local one up?
