in many states the MINIMUM speed limit is 15mph below the posted speed limit (whether or not it's posted as a min speed limit)
I know for a fact this is the case in Washington State (where I live)
as well as how often it is the "Prius" driving slow in the PASSING LANE
this bugs me a lot, as I drive a prius (normally 5-10mph above the posted speed limit when the roads are clear)
btw,
while I realize my higher speed may not be the best for mpg in my prius,
I'm used to my GTO and my old Camaro (both 6 speeds (double overdrive) and lots of low rpm torque) that get better fuel economy at 75mph than 60
