How to sell a '96 Maxima...

...back to Nissan. They company actually bought this guy's car for his asking price of $1400, plus they sent another $1000 to the charity of his choice.

Nicely done. I have always been a fan of this one too.

Datsun/Nssan products just keep rolling. I seen quite a few rattle traps when I worked at sears tire ameria that were sold under the hood, but junky looking else where.

I had one guy with a sentry, over 300k on the odo, no grill, no interior but seats, bare metal everywhere. Trunk was bare metal and places you can see the ground under it. Drove, sounded fine. Just needed 4 new tires.

Some folks in my country consider the 90's cars the best ones, since they had a good balance between technology, comfort, and still retained some ruggedness that is missing in many newer cars. BTW there were a few months ago when I saw a mid-90's Nissan Maxima for the most recent time...

Older ads seemed to be better. Nowadays there is a lot of all that "politically-correct" BS censoring creativity from the advertisers, among other factors.

Maximas never sold in large numbers here and most disolved due to salty roads, the remainder died due to expensive parts. We did get a 2.0 V6 Manual though.

Maximas have always been popular in my neck of the woods. People here don't want domestics, they want imports, and the Maxima was always a good second choice to an Accord or a Camry if you wanted a larger car and wanted to save some money. Though these days it's all BMWs and Mercedes mid sized sedans, I'll see 10 new C classes before I see a new Accord or Maxima.
