Hx or hch1

Mates I have a chance to buy a hx manual or hch1 automatic. Which you recommend could get the most mpg with mods not including aero beside front grill block? Thanks

Its a toss up. You'd probably have more fun driving the HX. If you're geekier (like to tinker with electronics), maybe the HCH1 is for you.

I do kind of like the tech behind it. If the hch1 was manual I would for sure go for it. I wonder why they stop making it in manual.

Can you tell us more about the hch? These cars typically have more ima issues with the battery and can be had for a deal and are not too difficult to fix. This is assuming you do not mind building or buying a grid charger or using a hobby charger to recondition the sticks.

Also some of these cars have 2 spark plugs per cylinder. Cause of the angle of the right side plugs next to or under the firewall they are overlooked and replacing those can lead to improved performance of the vehicle.
