HX Wheels

I have 4 HX wheels. 3 are good and 1 is badly bent (I would consider it unusable).
I appreciate everyone who contributes to Ecomodder, so I wanted to offer them up (for free) to any member who might be able to use them or wants to resell them.
I'm located nearish Lima Ohio and would prefer not to ship, but I don't mind holding onto them for a few months if someone is planning a trip out this way later this year.

It can't be too badly bent, based on the picture. let me guess, upper left, at 5 o'clock in the 2nd picture?

Solutions range from DIY with a bottle jack, to paid professionals.

I'm interested. But probably won't be able to make it until it warms up (late march/April maybe?). If someone else can use them don't hold them for me though.

freebeard,
You're right, it doesn't look too bad. The curb rash is top left at 12 o'clock, but the bend isn't so much at the lip as it is at the hub. Or, between the hub and the lip. (the hub is slightly off-center and crooked) I didn't even realize it was bent until the shop put in on the balancer and showed me the wobble. It was bad enough that I asked them to peel the new tire off and I put the rims in the back of my shed.

Hey M a t t,
Hit me up before you head this way, if I still have them, they're yours.
I will update here if they find a new home. They are not cross-posted.

Sound like the spokes went slightly directional?

freebeard,
They may have gone directional. I don't have a good way to measure that, but the face of the hub appears to be on a slightly different plane than the barrel. I'm sure an experienced shop could straighten it out...almost as sure as I would make it worse if I tried!

I sold my civic a few years ago, so I haven't looked any closer at the wheels.
