I just tried P & G, plus engine switch off, and my decision ist: From a holistic consideration, I just donīt want to do this. It clearly destroys my pleasure of driving (smootly and seamless running engine), as for example slipstream driving also do. Also I think, that the expends of replacing starter will reduce my moey saving. Iīm not looking for fuel cost reducing at all costs, but thanks nevertheless for the advices!

Hello, I've had a 528i auto touring, and it was sensible to tire pressures. I always use pressure above 2.3. The touring being heavier (factory spec) states 2.7 in the rear axle when loaded. I used 2.4 in the winter/rainy weather and higher when sunny. I got 12lt/100km on LPG (highway driving auto gearbox cruising 90km/h). Added benefit of higher tire pressures is better manouvering when stationary or slower speeds. If you're in Germany, I would try some grill block when cold.
