Superbeetle front suspension converted to coil-overs.

My friends kid won because he used lotus philosophy and my idea of a shower curtain for bodywork. He smoked in each race

Almost twenty years ago they had automotive design departments of top car companies make gravity racers for the Xtreme Gravity Racing series in 2005. Corporate-supported entries, Nissan, Mazda, Chrysler, Infiniti, Volvo, Bentley Volkswagen, GM, and Audi used their design, engineering and fabrication staff to create beautiful aero entries.

L'Ultime Descente Speed Challenge, Atomic Scalpel has the world's gravity top speed record @ 101.98 mph

gravity racer

* scale it up
* put it on rails
* marry it to a 140-mph roller-coaster drop ramp
* from any urban skyscraper
* lifted, empty, with renewable energy
* pointed towards the suburbs
* and you get a thrilling mass transit system
* which provides an experience some will pay an $ 80 (US) entry fee
* just to by a ticket for
* at an amusement park
* after stepping off a renewable-energy-powered elevator
* already installed in the skyscraper
* local gravitational constant = 'fuel'
